What is a Lime?
Some of you are probably wondering "What is a Lime?" Our Caribbean friends already know, but for those who don't, a Lime is simply an informal gathering with family and friends, which in most cases includes food, drinks and music. To lime means to hang out or socialize, so when someone says "I was liming" they mean "I was hanging out" or "I was spending time with friends". In some Caribbean cultures, a Backyard Lime is held at someone's home and is a regular occurrence.
